Learning Outcomes:

  • Learn the current best practices for pediatric asthma management.
  • Understand the difference between vocal cord dysfunction and asthma
  • Identify the overall health cost and financial impact on families of the delay in treating asthma exacerbation.
  • Collaborate with multiple agencies to design and implement a law for rescue inhalers in schools.
  • Understand the importance of Asthma Action Plans and the availability of rescue medications in the school setting.
  • Design a training program for administration of rescue inhalers for school staff.
  • Identify the value of evaluating a newly implemented program.

WE MUST HAVE 20 PEOPLE TO BE ABLE TO OFFER THIS THIS PROGRAM
