This is a special place, beloved by many and a great opportunity for young people and adults to grow, take safe risks and start to discover who they want to be in the world! Horton Center is a small, United Church of Christ (UCC), ACA Accredited church camp on top of Pine mountain in northern New Hampshire, in the town of Gorham.
We run week-long sessions for mostly kids (grades 3- 12) and some sessions for families and adults, with an average number on site of 30-50 people. The nurses quarters are simple but comfortable with a private bedroom, bathroom, and treatment room/office all in the same building.
We still need nurses for the following weeks this summer:
June 19th – June 27th Pay = $800 + Room and Board (extra 2 days – Friday to following Saturday)
June 27th – July 4th Pay = $600 + Room and Board
July 4th – July 11th Pay = $600 + Room and Board
July 11th – July 18th Pay = $600 + Room and Board
July 18th – July 25th Pay = $600 + Room and Board
July 25th – Aug. 1st Pay = $600 + Room and Board
Aug. 1st – Aug. 9th Pay = $800 + Room and Board (extra 2 days – Saturday 8/1 to Sunday 8/9)
These are one week, paid positions for Nurses with a current NH license (or a Compact License), and it includes room and board onsite. Nurses arrive Saturday afternoon and depart the following Saturday morning. The campers come Sunday afternoon and leave Saturday morning. The most fun you will ever have at work! For nearly 100 years, Waukeela Camp for Girls has been a traditional sleep-away camp in the foothills of the famed White Mountains. We are currently seeking professional, self-motivated registered nurses who love kids, the outdoors, and wish to play an essential role in providing an amazing summer camp experience at Waukeela.
Waukeela nurses are dedicated to keeping our campers and staff well, so they can have the best summer ever. Outstanding assessment skills and clinical judgement are necessary for this specialized role. Working closely as a team of three, the nurses live in a charming farmhouse overlooking pristine Crystal Lake. Nursing staff should arrive prepared to work at a brisk pace throughout the day and into the evening - providing first aid, conducting assessments and administering medications. Flexibility, teamwork, and excellent communication skills are required. Overnight call is rotated amongst the nurses and is generally restricted to urgent/emergent issues.
Current, unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in New Hampshire or a multi-state license from a nurse compact (eNLC) state.
AHA BLS certification current throughout the period of employment.A minimum of 2 years of experience practicing as a registered nurse, preferably in a pediatric setting. 1 year of school nursing experience or equivalent is strongly preferred.
‘Building character since 1913’, William Lawrence is a small traditional all boys residential summer camp in NH that seeks a nurse (or nurses) for the 2020 season. Season is from mid-June to mid-August. Would like nurse for entire season (8 weeks) but will consider hiring by session. On a beautiful 250 acre campus with an extensive waterfront, the well-equipped health center enjoys a stunning view of the area lakes and mountains and a steady fresh breeze.
William Lawrence Camp is a 106 year old not-for-profit organization that serves 110 campers from the age of 8-15 and 50 staff at any given time. Maine Arts Camp - Waterville ME
Maine Arts Camp (maineartscamp.com) is entering its 15th summer and its 3rd located on the campus of Colby College. We have an opening for:
2nd session nurse (July 12-27). We have two full time nurses each session and the 2nd session nurse will work with Maryellen McCone (10th summer at camp). The nurses split shifts during the day, with one working the morning/afternoon (7:30 am - 3:00 pm) and the other afternoon/evening (3:00 pm - 10:30 pm). During the two weeks, the full time nurses have two full days off (24 hours).

Camp Walden is searching for an RN, LPN or Graduate Nurse to join our health and wellness staff and our camp community. Responsibilities will include dispensing medications, assessing and caring for sick and injured campers and staff, keeping records, and communicating with parents and physicians.
