Oliverian School - Haverhill NH

The school nurse plays a key role in the lives of the students at the Oliverian School, by being the manager of their health. The school nurse manages student medications and medical records, serves to responds to health concerns, provides health education, and works to promote the choices that enhance students’ physical and mental well being.

                                                              

The opportunity to be a school nurse in a small caring boarding school environment allows a skilled professional the ability to directly influence young people in developing

critical young adult skills in the areas of health awareness, self-care and independence.

The work environment at Oliverian is strongly team- oriented and involves close collaboration with all the various departments of the school in order to effectively provide a safe, nurturing and healthy living environment for our students.

The ideal candidate will be organized, detail-oriented, responsible, and able to work independently, and will also possess the ability and desire to understand and engage in supportive relationships with adolescents.

Candidates should either be licensed in New Hampshire as a Registered Nurse or license eligible. The ability to train and certify staff in First Aid or CPR would be highly desirable.

Camp Wediko -- Windsor

The Wediko Summer Program is looking to hire seasonal nurses to work at our summer program. The Wediko Summer Program is a 45 day program structured like a therapeutic summer camp. Nurses are responsible for dispensing medication and making recommendations to the Nurse Practitioner as needed. Nurses are also responsible for taking care of illnesses and injuries and making recommendations and coordinating for emergency medical treatment as needed. The nursing team will work under the direct supervision of the Nurse Manager. Experience working in a residential program is preferred, but not required. Experience working with children and adolescents who have been diagnosed with various social, emotional, and behavioral disorders is preferred, but not required. However, nurses must have a basic understanding of common pediatric psychiatric diagnoses. Full time, part time, and overnight positions are available.

Camp Bernadette, a Catholic all-girls summer camp on lake Wentworth, is currently seeking a head nurse for the summer season. It is a 9 week commitment from June 18-Aug 19. We are looking for a caring, fun-loving, and team-oriented nurse. You would be responsible for organizing and working alongside eight other nurses who rotate (two nurses every two week session) to ensure a smooth camping season. Circle Program - Groton NH

The Circle Program is a non-profit organization that offers girls from low-income families a residential summer camp experience and then a mentoring program during the school year.


Our girls’ first experience with the program is to attend Circle Camp, located on Spectacle Pond in Groton, NH. Circle Camp is a place where girls feel valued, accepted and are recognized for their individual strengths. It’s an opportunity for them to make new friends, learn new skills and develop a sense of self-responsibility. We encourage girls we serve to continue with our program over the years and offer teen camp sessions as well.

We are presently seeking a nurse/healthcare provider to cover our 6 week session. This individual would provide an important medical presence, helping to maintain the health and well-being of our campers and staff.

The Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth summer programs are academic summer camps, and we are looking for nurses for our residential camp in Bristol, RI, at Roger Williams University. Takodah has four healthcare staff (2 nurses and 2 assistants) who share responsibility for 24-hour coverage in rotating shifts.
