My Representative, Eric Turer is a neighbor, and we spoke about this issue after I read the original post regarding a change in the bill language to include Neffy. He reports that there is a bill proposed for the new session by the Representative from Raymond, Mr. Drago, about epinephrine. They have spoken and agreed to amend the bill to include Neffy.  I have not seen the bill proposed so I'm not sure of the language in the current bill or if any changes made are sufficient or appropriate. Is there someone on the legislative committee I can have Mr. Turer contact?

    Thank you,

    Hi all,

I wonder if anyone out there is aware of any action that has been taken, on a legislative level, to change the wording for our epinephrine laws.  Currently, the RSA uses language around epinephrine auto-injectors only. With the introduction of Neffy, the nasal epinephrine delivery system, I am hopeful to see some change. I can imagine this would be a lot more comfortable of a process for staff, parents, and young students over the idea of an injection. If it has not been started, how can we as nurses start the process of advocating for this change? I welcome all insights and knowledge on this topic. Thanks for all school nurses do.
