Information on Renewal
The Administrative Rules do not address employer record keeping logistics. As such, our office would not issue guidance on this. Each employer determines how to keep track of professional development for licensed educators. Some use MLP, some do not.
An employer can certainly use the same method of tracking PD for licensed school nurses as they do for other educators modifying the number of hours required.
School Nurses with an employer that has a Professional Development Master Plan approved by the NHDOE will be recommended for renewal to our office in the same way other licensed educators are through the Educator Information System under the employer Professional Development Master Plan by the Superintendent.
If any school nurses employed under a Professional Development Master Plan have any questions, please have them contact the person in charge of renewals for the employer first (typically someone in HR or the Superintendent’s office), and the employer contact can also contact us if they have questions about the Professional Development Master Plan.
If the licensed School Nurse is at an employer that does not have an approved Professional Development Master Plan, the nurse will renew with us directly and can email us at email@example.com for renewal questions.
Let us know if you have any further questions!

I renewed mine last spring. I believe I found it under certifications on the DOE website. I also emailed with a question and found the staff very helpful.
