PLEASE remember to post your answers in the School Nurse Forum located at: https://nhschoolnurses.org/School-Nurse-Forum

I am interested to see if NH School Nurses are screening for idiopathic adolescent scoliosis. There is conflicting evidence and recommendations for and against doing this.

Please comment on if you are or are not screening, what tools you are using and what grade levels if you are screening.

    Thank you in advance!

    1. Our school (Chester Academy) stopped this screening process approx 6 years ago, we decided  it would be left to MD  during their physical assessments. -----Lynda

    2. Not screening anymore for past 4-5 years.  Elizabeth Mills

    3.   We are not screening at Concord HS 9-12--Mary Palm RN BS

    4.  I am not screening.  I have a Pre K - 5th school.  I have 380 students.  Lack of time and after review information on NHDOE I focus my time on other medical issues.
