COVID testing in schools

    I have 276 students and 60 staff. I am only testing symptomatic staff and students who have signed up for our SASS testing which right now is about 162 staff and students. I try to arrange everyone that I am testing to drive by at 9am but it doesn't always work. I test anywhere form 0-6 staff/ students a day. I use the online form- https://forms.nh.gov/EpiInfoWebSurvey/Home/37a7bc1e-69b9-4227-9b36-95d340277229  to report negative tests and usually call in any positive tests. The negative test online form is fairly quick I haven't tried the online positive form yet.

    Hello-

    We do it all day, everyday at our small school. I can't imagine doing it for a larger school. 

    Plus- we have to CLIA log each test which is labor intensive.

    I would say it is 50% of my job and it definitely takes away from my other responsibilities.

    Hi all,

    If you do COVID-testing for symptomatic staff and students at your school, what hours do you do it from? 

    How many hours a week do you believe that you spend doing work related to that COVID testing at school that takes away from your time doing other things? Do you do any of this work outside of school hours?
